If you really want to learn the language used to compile dll and asi files you learn C++ with a C++ ide like visual studio, I think Other languages can be compiled to dll like C or C# but C++ is what was used to make CS I believe. You don’t edit dll files directly, you edit source code(text) files with a text editing application and then another application called a compiler reads the source code and turns it to dll or asi files. ![]() As for the source code(readable text files with readable computer commands) of the game I don’t think valve releases source code for their games but it might be worth a google :p. If you want to learn about the hack you’re better of trying to find the source code of the hack used to compile the dll files. If you decompile it you probably won’t get anything readable because you’re basically reverse engineering machine code. ![]() When it is compiled usually everything is is stripped of it’s names and is turned into basic machine code. Yo probably looked this up by now but those files are compiled and can’t be read unless they are decompiled.
